The redevelopment of King Edward VII School's uncovered aging swimming pool into a world class aquatic centre. The 2,750sqm covered yet naturally ventilated centre includes two pools for swimming and waterpolo plus a learn-to-swim facility. Completed in 2020 and winner of Best Sporting Facility and Best Sheeting Project at the SA Steel Awards 2022 and a finalist in the SA Fulton Awards 2022.
A 700 unit apartment development in the heart of Cape Town, with 1200sqm of landscaped vertical gardens to the tower elevations, making it the first biophilic building of its kind in Africa.
25 stories above ground and several basement levels, conceptualised as a reinforced concrete frame structure with bolt-on structural steel pre-fabricated balconies and tree-pods to the tower.
Completed in 2021, a new 400sqm residence in Waterfall Country Estate. The steep site, falling towards a natural belt and stream, calls for a split-level structure. The frame comprises lightweight roof with concrete insitu floors supported on brickwork and structural steel posts.
